Actuarial Analyst II (AI)

What you will do

• Own key processes for quarterly reserving under GAAP and Solvency II technical provisions.
• Support actuarial assumptions, methods, business planning analysis, and reporting.
• Report results to internal stakeholders, Group, Lloyd’s, and other regulators.
• Contribute to reserving discussions with underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, and reinsurance teams.
• Develop tools and outputs that use actuarial data to improve underwriting performance and provide management information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and communicate modelling results clearly.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of actuarial reserving experience; London Market experience is desirable but not essential.
• Progress toward an actuarial qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong technical and model-building experience with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and AI.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and explain modelling processes and results to internal and external stakeholders.
