Data Scientist, 2027 Graduate U.S. (AI)

Location: Seattle, United States; candidates must be able to work from the Seattle hub. The role is not available to F1 or J1 students and does not offer work sponsorship.

Base salary: $103,086–$134,585 in Zone C, $111,780–$145,935 in Zone B, or $124,200–$162,150 in Zone A, plus potential benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Develop data-driven hypotheses and apply statistical methods to evaluate product experiments, feature rollouts, and user behavior.
• Analyze user interaction and telemetry datasets to identify journey patterns, friction points, and growth opportunities.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and communicate quantitative results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, data engineers, and data scientists to support product and business decisions.
• Define success metrics and use statistical frameworks and machine learning models to influence product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full time in a master's program and graduating by August 2027 in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency with SQL or other query languages.
• Experience with Python or R for statistical computing, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, experimental design, A/B testing, or machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Streamlit, Tableau, or R Shiny and libraries such as matplotlib or bokeh.
• Strong communication skills and practical experience through internships, academic research, open-source contributions, or data projects.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools and generative AI workflows, including LLM APIs, AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, AI agents, or agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, or dbt.
• Understanding of the SaaS business model and its key metrics.
