Specialist Taxes (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Coordinate with external branch bookkeeping providers on tax assessments and reporting in compliance with country regulations.
• Coordinate outstanding VAT balances and perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Support internal stakeholders with the correct tax treatment and accounting of invoices.
• Monitor compliance with internal accounting processes, policies, and requirements.
• Supervise bookkeeping and administration for external branch offices, including approval workflows and internal coordination.
• Contribute to branch-office projects from an accounting and tax perspective.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Finance and Accounting or a comparable qualification, such as certified accountant or tax clerk.
• Previous experience in international company groups and internal control systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting under German tax law and HGB.
• Excellent understanding of VAT in Germany and Europe.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office; SAP experience is beneficial.
• Good communication skills in German and English, with an independent, diligent, analytical, and structured working style.
