Logistics Specialist II (Aerospace)

Location: Englewood, Colorado, United States; in-office work with the ability to work in an office or hybrid environment

Salary: $25.24–$34.71 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare and document logistics materials, including spares, tools, equipment, repair parts, and manuals.
• Manage shipping and routing while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain and analyze equipment, component, and inventory records.
• Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities.
• Ensure import and export compliance and coordinate material delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Logistics Specialist I employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and global logistics regulations and basic inventory and supply chain principles.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills and experience with Costpoint.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance are required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, work on foot for most of the shift, work in a loud environment, and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Advanced logistics software skills and familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.
• HazMat training or certification and forklift operating ability.
• Experience with FedEx, DHL, UPS, shipping databases, shelf-life management, CDL driving, or aerospace and defense environments.
