Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Vue)

Location: Remote, based in Mexico City, Mexico. Work schedule requires good time zone overlap with US Eastern hours; hybrid or onsite arrangements may apply depending on the project.

What you will do

• Join an existing Agile team and work directly with client teams.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using PHP, Laravel, Vue, and relational databases.
• Design and implement APIs, unit tests, and production-ready software solutions.
• Lead technical work, mentor other engineers, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Backend experience with PHP 8+, Laravel, API development, and unit testing.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js 3+.
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB, Git, Docker, Apache, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong English communication skills and good overlap with US Eastern hours are required.

Nice to have

• Elasticsearch, Logstash, or MongoDB.
• GitHub Actions, TypeScript, or Zend/Laminas.
