TL;DR
Fullstack PHP Developer (Vue): Developing and maintaining PHP backend functionality, APIs, integrations, databases, and Vue-based frontend applications across diverse projects with an accent on navigating existing codebases and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Focus on debugging production issues, improving code quality, collaborating across technical and business teams, and delivering features across changing project contexts.
Location: Fully remote within Serbia, or hybrid from the Belgrade or Čačak office

What you will do
- Develop and maintain PHP backend functionality, including APIs, business logic, integrations, and database operations.
- Contribute to Vue.js or similar frontend applications and maintain user interfaces as required.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
- Navigate existing codebases, debug production issues, and improve code quality incrementally.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Plan priorities and deliver features across multiple projects with different contexts.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building production applications with PHP.
- Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or another modern PHP framework.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL, and efficient query writing.
- Experience with Vue.js or a similar JavaScript framework, REST APIs, and external service integrations.
- Proficiency with Git, code review, branching, and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work independently in existing codebases, assess change impact, organize priorities, and communicate clearly.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, AWS, GCP, or similar cloud environments and deployment processes.
- Experience with automated testing using PHPUnit, Pest, Vitest, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with queue systems, caching, performance optimization, legacy systems, and incremental modernization.
