Ecommerce SEO Specialist (Shopify)

hirify.global is a remote digital marketing agency focused on search engine strategy and organic traffic growth for niche ecommerce brands.

What you will do

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and search traffic.
• Conduct keyword research across personas, semantic search, competitors, trends, and micro-moments.
• Execute on-page optimization, including titles, descriptions, canonicals, URLs, internal linking, and SEO copy editing.
• Perform technical SEO audits and support website migrations.
• Evaluate link profiles and identify link-building opportunities.
• Manage client accounts, prepare performance reporting and presentations, and provide recommendations aligned with goals and KPIs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of technical SEO experience and willingness to learn.
• Experience with technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO, and link-building tactics.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress or ecommerce content management systems such as Shopify, Magento, or Webflow.
• Strong client relationship, communication, analytical, organizational, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Python, R, JavaScript, or relevant frameworks.
• Experience researching, writing, publishing, and promoting blog content.
• Agency experience or experience with Shopify Plus, Magento, or BigCommerce.
• Experience with SEO, CRO, UX design, web development, or copywriting.
• Bilingual English and French, Agile/Scrum knowledge, and experience working on a remote team.
