Multimedia Producer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based at the 275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA office, with in-person work three days a week or more.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Produce discussion, interview, podcast, video, and audio content while supporting talent and maintaining recording-quality standards.
• Edit long-form audio and video, create short-form social clips, and prepare branded intro and outro assets.
• Write copy for LinkedIn posts and YouTube Shorts, then upload and optimize finished content across distribution platforms.
• Manage recording calendars, provide live technical support, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain an organized media asset library.
• Use AI tools and automations to simplify workflows, track podcast analytics, and recommend improvements to production processes.
• Collaborate with Editorial and Audience teams, support journalists with new tools, and coordinate timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in video and audio editing and production, ideally in or alongside newsrooms.
• Strong knowledge of audio and video recording equipment, production best practices, and remote recording platforms such as Riverside or StreamYard.
• Experience creating and optimizing content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify, and other social or multimedia distribution platforms.
• Understanding of journalism principles, multimedia analytics, project management, and project-tracking tools.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, work independently, and collaborate across departments.

• Experience working directly within a newsroom or editorial organization.
• Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation.
