Location: Hybrid work model in Buenos Aires, Argentina, or Lima, Peru, with remote work and office attendance in Lima available on selected days

What you will do

  • Build secondary-sourcing coverage for assigned ingredients by validating substitutes, supplier availability, quantities, and lead times.
  • Lead RFPs and sourcing projects, including supplier identification, pricing, contracting, testing, recommendations, and rollout.
  • Develop supplier strategies to address quality concerns, inconsistent specifications, and limited supply coverage.
  • Coordinate ingredient samples and market-level pilots with Culinary and other stakeholders, documenting results before network rollout.
  • Set up approved ingredients and vendors across Wholesaleware, Parsley, Supplier Service, and NetSuite.
  • Monitor forecasts, inventory, lead times, supply risks, credit-memo resolution, and process standardization.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience or strong interest in ingredient sourcing, procurement, quality, or food industry operations.
  • Understanding of food ingredient specifications and food standards compliance, or willingness to develop this expertise.
  • Advanced written and spoken English required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing requests independently and follow structured processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience in culinary-driven environments such as meal kits, foodservice, hospitality, or CPG.
  • Knowledge of regional sourcing, clean-label ingredients, or sustainability-oriented procurement.
  • Understanding of ingredient regulatory constraints, specification sheets, and documentation.
  • Experience using ChatGPT or Claude to automate processes and optimize workflows.
  • Experience with Monday.com or equivalent project management tools.
