Test and Validation Senior Associate Engineer (Engine Testing)

Location: Mossville, Illinois; onsite five days a week. Up to 10% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $89,210–$133,810 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct engine performance, validation, and certification tests for C280 NTI and NPI programs.
• Develop engine, test setup, and data acquisition plans aligned with program objectives.
• Procure and install validation hardware and instrumentation.
• Ensure test readiness through engine installation, cell calibration, facility preparation, and equipment repair.
• Guide cell operators across multiple shifts and communicate test requirements.
• Investigate engine and test-cell issues, analyze data quality, and report results to technical and program leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Professional experience in engine development testing, including performance or validation testing.
• Knowledge of accuracy, analytical thinking, decision-making, technical problem-solving, project management, and product testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Mossville, Illinois five days per week.
• Work must follow ISO 17025 processes.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting C280 engine performance, validation, and certification tests.
• Understanding of C280 hardware configurations and their impact on product reliability.
• Knowledge of C280 calibration parameters and their effects on performance and emissions.
• Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools.
