Consultant, Global Security Operations

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; work arrangement details, including the proportion of onsite and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Support the strategy, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the Global Security Operations Center.
• Develop and maintain tools, databases, websites, MS Office templates, and management reporting materials.
• Coordinate with banking centre leaders, IT, facilities management, physical security teams, crime prevention teams, and external vendors.
• Support after-hours ATM vestibule management, patrol and lockdown planning, alarm simulations, and security system response evaluations.
• Generate reports, monitor program metrics, recommend system improvements, and oversee contracted security suppliers against SLA and KPI requirements.
• Maintain physical security standards, job aids, work instructions, and operational processes in line with evolving threats and record-retention policies.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting a global physical security program in a medium or large enterprise or multinational organization.
• Working knowledge of physical security operations, incident management, data analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with Power Automate, Excel, and creating or modifying MS Forms applications.
• Ability to manage sensitive engagements, tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and occasional work outside normal business hours.
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting, research, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Professional security or security system design designation such as ASIS APP, PSP, or CPP.
• Experience with emerging physical security technologies and industry best practices.
