AWS Java Full Stack Developer

Location: 5 days onsite in Lafayette, Louisiana; Knoxville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; Columbia, South Carolina; or Plano, Texas

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support full-stack applications in an AWS-focused financial services environment.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop Angular interfaces and integrate them with backend services.
• Troubleshoot application issues and write clean, secure, maintainable code.
• Contribute to automated testing, deployment activities, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including object-oriented programming, collections, streams, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals.
• Experience with Spring Boot REST APIs, microservices, dependency injection, validation, configuration management, and centralized exception handling.
• Knowledge of Spring Security, JWT authentication, JPA/Hibernate, and transaction management.
• Experience with Angular, RxJS, routing, state management, API integration, and UI performance troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying applications with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway, plus IAM, queues, monitoring, and networking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Git, GitHub, Jenkins, build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and integration troubleshooting.
• UI test automation and regression testing with Playwright and LambdaTest.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI development tools.
