Intern, Marketplace Insights & Consumer Foresight

Location: Rochester, New York, United States. The role is based in a corporate office setting and includes occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Salary: $19.00–$29.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze category and brand sales performance to identify trends and explain business results.
• Research emerging consumer behaviors, attitudes, and shopping trends across demographic groups.
• Conduct macroeconomic, market, and consumer research to investigate strategic business questions.
• Lead a project that turns data into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations of findings to leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in market research, economics, analytics, strategy, or business development.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including comfort presenting findings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• High integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
