Engineering Technician 2 - Integrated Final Test (Semiconductor)

Location: Kalispell, Montana, United States; onsite work required. Weekend night schedule, with travel up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $21.50–$29.20

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and rework following test results.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and technical descriptions while compiling test procedures and logbook documentation.
• Generate Quality Notifications and assist with correcting manufacturing and engineering process issues.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in clean-room environments with required personal protective equipment and in areas with potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to distinguish between colors and follow safety, security, and operating procedures.
