Senior Manufacturing Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; onsite at the Centennial facility

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Coordinate Manufacturing Product Development Team activities, stakeholder planning, accountability, and execution.
• Create and manage project schedules while coordinating with operations and other departments to deliver hardware.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturing reviews, flow-downs, sourcing plans, and delivery plans.
• Develop machining supply chain strategies, obtain vendor quotes, issue purchase orders, and manage supplier schedules.
• Track hardware, risks, budgets, unit costs, non-conformances, engineering changes, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional process improvement and resolve issues affecting manufacturing and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, applied sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience; aerospace or automotive project experience is required.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including additive manufacturing, thermal processing, machining, coating, nondestructive testing, and mechanical testing.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Additive manufacturing experience.
• PMP certification.
• AS9100, ISO9001, or equivalent experience in automotive, medical, or related industries.
