Senior Software Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote across the United States, Canada, LATAM, and EMEA; applications from France, Italy, and Germany are not considered.

US salary range: $156,884–$220,520 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation outside the US is determined by location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Build front-end components and user experiences for prediction-market interactions across MetaMask clients.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs for real-time market data, user positions, and transaction signing.
• Integrate prediction-market protocols securely with on-chain systems.
• Optimize performance and security for real-time data feeds and high-volume transaction throughput.
• Collaborate in an agile engineering environment using clean code, testing, and coding standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with mobile technologies and at least 3 years building websites or applications.
• Professional experience with React and React Native.
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, including ES6 and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, Web3 integration, APIs, middleware services, and cross-platform or cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of web security, application testing, clean code practices, and coding standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with prediction markets, token trading, sports betting, DeFi protocols, or digital financial products.
• Previous Web3 experience or familiarity with the Web3 wallet ecosystem.
• Basic knowledge of cryptography principles and performance optimization.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
