TL;DR
Data Product Manager (AI/ML): Defining and delivering the data product strategy for Prima’s Italian motor insurance business with an accent on data accessibility, quality, discoverability, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on managing the full data product lifecycle, improving self-service data tools, monitoring data quality, and coordinating APIs, data pipelines, and machine learning workflows.
Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid workplace. Remote work from anywhere is available for up to 30 days per year.

What you will do
- Define the data product vision and roadmap for the Italian business.
- Connect data consumers, including data scientists and business analysts, with data engineering teams.
- Own the full data product lifecycle from discovery and modelling through performance and impact monitoring.
- Improve data product discoverability and self-service through tools such as data catalogs and data dictionaries.
- Define data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting, and communicate breaking changes proactively.
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights and support data-driven product decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in product or data management within data-intensive or technical product environments.
- Data-native analytical mindset with experience measuring metrics, data quality, model performance, and data product success.
- Experience coordinating complex dependencies and stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Previous hands-on experience in data analysis, data science, data engineering, or software development.
- Technical fluency in APIs, data pipelines, and machine learning workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build consensus across departments and seniority levels.

- Experience in the insurance market.
- Experience delivering products involving ML, AI, or predictive modelling.
