A220 Configuration Change Manager (Aerospace)

Airbus manufactures A220 and A320 Family commercial aircraft at its U.S. manufacturing facility in Mobile.

What you will do

• Provide technical analysis and enriched documentation for assembly anomalies, nonconformities, concessions, and Design Query Notes.
• Identify, document, follow up on, and help resolve nonconformities and production disruptions on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement, process validation, failure analysis, waste elimination, and Work Improvement Proposals.
• Manage rework and serial work orders, including prioritizing blocked orders and work linked to nonconformities or concessions.
• Support the specification, repair, modification, and calibration of production jigs, tools, and industrial assets.
• Help maintain production, quality, logistics, and EHS standards at assembly stations.

Requirements

• On-site work in Mobile Area, Alabama, United States is required.
• At least five years of experience in aerospace, preferably on an aerospace final assembly line.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Current U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
• Ability to support shop-floor production, quality, nonconformity, work order, and EHS activities.
