What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and control engineering BOMs from concept through production, testing, and customer delivery.
• Capture as-built and as-delivered BOMs and configuration records for serialized units, including production-floor verification and customer deliverable packages.
• Administer configuration identification standards, the Configuration Management Plan, change control workflows, and Configuration Control Board activities.
• Maintain configuration status accounting and execute Functional and Physical Configuration Audits.
• Manage PLM/PDM data across eBOM, mBOM, and sBOM structures; collaborate with manufacturing engineering to resolve discrepancies and ensure manufacturability.
• Support interface, supplier, subcontractor, customer, quality audit, program review, reporting, training, and configuration automation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of configuration management experience on complex hardware development programs in aerospace, defense, industrial systems, or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with PLM/PDM tools such as PTC Windchill, Agile, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, and/or AS9100 quality management requirements.
• Experience owning eBOM structures and managing change control workflows in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to data accuracy and configuration traceability.
• Eligibility to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience developing automation tools or scripts with Python, VBA, SQL, or similar technologies for BOM analysis, reporting, or data reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, digital thread, or digital twin initiatives.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and their integration with PLM/PDM for as-built tracking.
• CMPIC or equivalent configuration management certification.
