What you will do

• Maintain instrumentation, control networks, hardware, and software to ensure a reliable control solution.
• Develop maintenance plans and identify improvement opportunities for control-system equipment.
• Register and manage Stay in Business projects that improve operational capability.
• Lead the Control and Instrumentation team and manage the operational C&I budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational management of change, legislative, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
• Promote a high-performing, inclusive culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrument Engineering at NQF Level 6.
• Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist registration with ECSA.
• 10 years of experience in control and instrumentation, including 5 years of relevant management experience.
• 5 years of experience with fieldbus technologies such as Profibus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
• Advanced computer literacy, Ethernet networking knowledge, and knowledge of applicable laws, standards, and specifications.
• Fluent English literacy and a valid driver’s license are required.

Nice to have

• BSc or BEng in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Instrument Engineering.
• GCC Factories and Works certification.
