TL;DR
Front-End Developer (React/Genetics): Building intuitive, high-performance interfaces for visualizing complex human genome and variant data with an accent on responsive UI implementation, scientific charts, and interactive graphics. Location: Remote in Greece; hybrid option with one office day per week in Athens. The talent pool is spread across Europe.

is a Swiss precision medicine company developing the VarSome suite of bioinformatic tools for human genome variant analysis and interpretation.
What you will do
- Build and translate UI designs into production-ready application interfaces.
- Develop high-performance, responsive visual interfaces for geneticists and researchers.
- Present complex scientific and human genome data through sophisticated charts and interactive graphics.
- Collaborate with backend developers to connect graphical design with technical implementation.
- Take ownership of how the application looks and works.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in similar roles.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing full-stack web applications.
- Professional knowledge of React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Git/Gitflow, and unit testing.
- Understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
Nice to have
- Prior knowledge or experience with Webpack.
- Interest in learning genetics and working in the healthcare and precision medicine domain.
