Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: UK Remote; ability to align with US working hours required. The role also supports hiring for the Bay Area and London offices.

What you will do

• Source AI/ML engineers, machine learning researchers, robotics engineers, computer vision engineers, software engineers, embedded and edge engineers, and technical support engineers.
• Build technical talent pipelines through outbound sourcing, referrals, market mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, research papers, and technical communities.
• Own full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and founders to define technical requirements, hiring standards, and long-term team needs.
• Manage multiple technical searches, candidate data, interview feedback, and recruiting workflows in Ashby.
• Improve candidate experience, sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, and pipeline quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of high-level technical recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated success recruiting AI/ML, machine learning research, robotics, computer vision, or similarly advanced technical profiles.
• Consistent record of closing 1–2 highly technical hires per month and delivering against a quarterly hiring quota.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders and founders.
• Strong sourcing, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to align with US working hours and work remotely from the UK.

• Experience hiring candidates with advanced degrees, including MS and PhD graduates from top global universities.
