Wireless Network Development Engineer (Network Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy wireless and wired network access solutions across global fulfillment sites.
• Build automation frameworks for network configuration, compliance validation, and zero-touch deployment.
• Develop self-healing remediation workflows, anomaly detection models, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
• Own complex network engineering projects from requirements gathering through deployment and validation.
• Collaborate with firmware, infrastructure, network operations, field operations, and program management teams.
• Validate new hardware, device types, and configurations, including occasional on-site troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, deployment, operations, or related technical roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with IP routing technologies and large-scale enterprise wireless networks.
• Deep expertise in wireless 802.11ac/ax/be and wired access technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with network automation or scripting in Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or an equivalent language.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, load balancing, firewalls, ACLs, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, and network security architecture.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Arista, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, or Palo Alto platforms.
• Experience with controller-based and cloud-managed enterprise wireless platforms such as Cisco or Juniper MIST.
• Understanding of RF fundamentals, site surveys, and wireless capacity planning.
