Technical Product Owner

Location: Hedge End, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Hybrid hirify.global-FLEX model with 2 days working from the office and 3 days remotely each week.

What you will do

• Own the product plan and create a prioritised backlog from high-level product requirements.
• Work with architects and product managers to translate business goals and customer needs into detailed backlog items.
• Create, explain, and groom user stories while supporting the R&D team with daily questions and feedback.
• Assess technical documentation and ensure appropriate product documentation is produced.
• Prioritise technical requirements and support the development of back-end solutions, including software running as Windows Services.
• Support Customer Support, Professional Services, Technical Pre-sales, and Training teams when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or STEM discipline, preferably Computer Science or Engineering; an MBA is also relevant.
• Experience understanding technical solutions and software development, with the ability to translate broad goals into detailed requirements.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery organisation.
• Strong multitasking, prioritisation, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to learn relevant technologies such as Azure and cloud-based services and remain focused under pressure.
