TL;DR
Product Manager Quality Engineering (Quality Engineering/Performance Engineering): Defining and executing enterprise quality engineering visions, strategies, roadmaps, and adoption across performance engineering, contract testing, and quality governance with an accent on measurable outcomes, reliability, scalability, and compliance. Focus on aligning engineering and leadership stakeholders, improving engineering productivity and traceability, and advancing observability, performance-risk detection, and contract-testing coverage.
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work. Candidates must already be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there. Candidates requiring relocation from another country cannot be considered.
Gross monthly salary: €5,030–€7,183 for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, maturity targets, and adoption metrics for enterprise quality engineering capabilities.
- Manage quality engineering capabilities as products and services throughout their lifecycle, focusing on measurable outcomes and value realisation.
- Develop performance engineering practices covering performance testing, reliability, capacity, scalability, and earlier performance-risk detection.
- Advance contract and API testing, integration testing, traceability, test automation, governance, and observability.
- Align Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, and Leadership stakeholders while driving consensus and adoption.
- Promote product thinking, communities of practice, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering Leadership, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience managing strategic technology capabilities, product roadmaps, and adoption in enterprise environments.
- Strong strategic and systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, build communities, and drive organisational change.
- Knowledge of performance engineering, observability, reliability, contract and API testing, traceability, test automation, or test governance.
- Legal right to work in the Netherlands and current location in the Netherlands are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with JMeter, Grafana, LoadRunner, OpenTelemetry, SmartBear PactFlow, KONG, or Azure Test Plans.
- Understanding of emerging technology opportunities, including AI enablement.
- Affinity for GenAI-driven developer tooling and automation.
