Middle Office Analyst - Macro (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Monitor and resolve daily position, trade, cash, and PnL discrepancies with external counterparties.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to improve middle office workflows and operational processes.
• Document complex processes and develop middle office guidelines.
• Onboard new trading activity into existing technology platforms.
• Research and process applicable corporate actions.
• Maintain commission structures across markets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant financial markets industry experience, preferably supporting a macro trading desk.
• Experience with Python, UNIX/Linux operating systems, SQL, and relational databases.
• Ability to debug, analyze, and troubleshoot problems quickly under pressure.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of derivatives, futures, fixed income, or rates products.
• Familiarity with CTM, ICELink, Markitwire, or Repo Match.
