Associate, Banker CSG (Global Banking & Markets)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite at the New York office.

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Structure, analyze, and execute private placement and debt capital markets transactions.
• Oversee live deal execution, including due diligence, legal documentation, roadshows, and coordination with financiers and other investment banks.
• Evaluate financial models and prepare Discounted Cash Flow, Leveraged Buyout, Comparable Companies, and Precedent Transactions analyses.
• Draft financing and offering documents and prepare materials for potential buyers, board meetings, investment banking pitches, and client projects.
• Analyze clients’ financing needs, capital structures, and business strategies across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
• Build senior-level client dialogue on refinancing, rating advisory, strategic alternatives, and bond structuring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in the offered role or a related role.
• Experience with financial transaction structures for private placement clients, including party roles, deliverables, timelines, and scope parameters.
• Experience reviewing legal documents and performing quantitative analysis based on credit agreements, debt indentures, commitment papers, fee letters, and purchase and sale agreements.
• Experience with structured finance products, including Project Finance bonds, corporate bonds, structured bonds, Term Loans, and Asset-Backed Securities.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, financial projections, and client-prepared financial models.
