C# Engineer

Location: Holmdel, New Jersey, United States; hybrid with onsite attendance primarily 2 days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using C# and SQL.
• Build and support enterprise-scale applications.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Develop scalable backend architectures based on object-oriented design principles.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and support enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with a technical team focused on delivering reliable software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and .NET 6+.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and scalable backend architecture.
• Ability to work onsite in Holmdel, New Jersey, primarily 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices and SOA architectures.
• AWS cloud experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile methodologies.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
