Part-Time Segment Producer (Sports Broadcasting)

Location: Onsite in Inglewood, California, United States. Remote and hybrid working options are not offered. The role may require approximately 5% travel during key events.

What you will do

• Produce a wide range of content and assigned segments for live studio shows on streaming platforms.
• Generate and research story ideas, graphics, video, and sound elements.
• Adjust segment content for breaking news and changing live-show requirements.
• Coordinate with hosts, analysts, on-air staff, producers, editors, and associate producers.
• Oversee segments from development through execution, including edit notes and creative direction.
• Pitch story ideas and contribute to planning next-day coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively complex studio production or related experience.
• Strong production skills for sporting events, television graphics, and streaming platforms.
• Strong knowledge of live television production dynamics, control-room equipment, and edit-bay technologies.
• Ability to manage highlight supervision, segment production, and on-air graphics with little preparation time.
• Excellent writing, copy-editing, editorial, leadership, and supervisory skills.
• Strong football and hirify.global knowledge, with the ability to work quickly under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced understanding of linear editing and on-air graphics systems.
