Sr. Accountant I (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid role in Frisco, Texas, United States. No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly revenue and related journal entries in accordance with ASC 606.
• Review customer contracts and documentation for proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with responsible parties.
• Analyze NROR fluctuations and inquiries to support accurate revenue recognition.
• Support Sales, Operations, Finance, and internal and external audit activities.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, special projects, and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience focused on account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and responding to internal and external audit inquiries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to work in the United States in a hybrid role; immigration sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice to have

• General ledger or public accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 606, variance analysis, and financial research.
• Experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• CPA or CPA candidate status.
• Experience collaborating across departments and with external users of financial information.
