Fleet Supervisor (Logistics)

What you will do

• Oversee daily shift operations, including driver schedules, vehicle locations, and real-time operational issues.
• Assign drivers to routes and optimize vehicle and driver utilization.
• Communicate with drivers, operations management, and other staff by phone, text, and other channels.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and safety performance.
• Maintain shift records, document incidents, and collaborate across departments.
• Analyze operational data and implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced transportation or logistics environment; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GPS tracking systems, dispatch software, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Gmail and the ability to learn additional applications and software.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, especially Thursday through Sunday.
