SVP, Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead an approximately 30-person organization across Engineering, AI, and Platform/IT.
• Own engineering execution, technology architecture, technical standards, quality, reliability, and day-to-day delivery.
• Partner with the Chief Product & Technology Officer to translate product and company strategy into technical execution.
• Develop engineering leaders and build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
• Oversee application development, cloud infrastructure, data platforms and pipelines, integrations, security, and enterprise technology.
• Resolve complex architectural, performance, data pipeline, and production incident challenges while aligning Engineering with Product, Data, AI, Clinical, Operations, and Security.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering and technology experience, including complex software systems and engineering leadership.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managers while remaining involved in architecture, design, and execution.
• Strong product judgment, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, data-intensive production systems, distributed systems, data pipelines, and reliable platforms.
• Deep knowledge of modern software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, integrations, security, and reliability.
• Experience leading ML/AI engineering teams or products and platforms incorporating AI/ML.

Nice to have

• Healthcare technology or data company experience involving clinical, imaging, or claims data.
• Familiarity with HL7 and/or DICOM.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, AWS, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience in startup or growth-stage environments and in developing engineering leadership depth.
