Technical Support Lead (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, with meetings in Fairfax, Virginia; routine domestic and international travel to government and customer sites is required.

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, commensurate with skills, qualifications, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Integrate and deploy data, models, agents, interfaces, and platform capabilities across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and approved cross-domain environments.
• Coordinate technical readiness for demonstrations, testing, pilots, fielding, and initial operational use across government sites and security enclaves.
• Partner with mission integrators, government stakeholders, operational commands, software engineers, platform and data owners, cybersecurity personnel, and vendors.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and mitigate integration risks, deployment dependencies, technical blockers, and operational-readiness issues.
• Troubleshoot configuration, software and data dependencies, network connectivity, access controls, containerized applications, interfaces, releases, and deployment processes.
• Develop deployment records, readiness assessments, troubleshooting procedures, configuration documentation, transition materials, and sustainment requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Current DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access and the ability to obtain and maintain required facility, system, enclave, and JWICS access.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia and attend program meetings in Fairfax, Virginia.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally to CONUS and OCONUS customer sites and government installations.
• Active AWS Cloud and Security+ certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical integration, deployment, testing, fielding, or sustainment, preferably in DoD, Intelligence Community, or classified government environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, Azure or Google Cloud professional certification, or CISSP.
• Experience with Maven Smart System, CDAO or DIA quality frameworks, Joint Staff J2 JTIM-related activities, or comparable mission platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, agentic systems, model deployment, data pipelines, APIs, observability, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps.
• Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Service components, Joint Staff organizations, operational units, or geographically distributed CONUS and OCONUS fielding.
