Lead Program Manager (Finance)

Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX; San Antonio, TX; or Charlotte, NC, with 4 days onsite per week

What you will do

• Lead large-scale Finance programs consisting of multiple projects, broad scope, significant investment, and long-term timelines.
• Align data and technology solutions with business strategies and drive technology roadmaps.
• Manage portfolios of initiatives, including KPIs, business cases, budgets, forecasts, and portfolio reviews.
• Establish program governance for delivery consistency, risk management, issue resolution, and scope, schedule, and budget control.
• Report program status to executive leadership and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
• Build and mentor project and program management teams while supporting organizational change planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, or 6 years with a relevant master’s degree, MBA, or doctorate.
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within or supporting large financial services organizations.
• Experience managing complex programs and large portfolios, with knowledge of insurance, banking, finance, accounting, business processes, and KPIs.
• Understanding of current and emerging technology trends, including AI applications in program management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing others, supported by strong planning, financial management, communication, persuasion, and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Clarity, TIA, or other program and project management tools.
• Large-scale program leadership across multiple business functions or lines of business.
• Big Four or equivalent management consulting experience.
• U.S. military experience or experience with external partnerships, industry groups, or government relations.
• Finance Data & Technology platform expertise.
