Tax Analyst (Commercial Mortgage Servicing)

Location: Hybrid role based in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, with 3 days per week in the office and the remaining days remote. Core in-office day: Tuesday. Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually.

What you will do

• Monitor escrowed property taxes and ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Perform escrow analyses for taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance premiums.
• Set up and process mortgage insurance premium payments as needed.
• Review loan documents to support accurate loan setup and servicing.
• Work with borrowers on tax appeals and shortages and recommend appropriate actions.
• Manage an assigned portfolio, prioritize work by risk and urgency, and follow applicable regulations and compliance policies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of office experience preferred.
• Commercial mortgage servicing experience strongly preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing requests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work 3 days per week in the Minneapolis office are required.
