Senior Property Tax Representative / Tax Manager

Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, United States; overnight travel may be required.

Energy infrastructure company providing energy transportation and storage services across North America.

What you will do

• Administer property taxes for a defined geographic area or group of company assets.
• Collect and process data for personal property renditions and filings.
• Monitor real and personal property assessments and prepare property tax appeals.
• Attend hearings and negotiate with local assessment officials.
• Review property tax payment requests and assist with annual forecasts and budgets.
• Research property tax laws and legal decisions, manage selected team members, and support special projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of property tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; PTMS and database knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Houston and travel overnight as needed.
