Sr Property Tax Representative / Tax Manager

What you will do

• Collect and process data for personal property renditions and tax filings.
• Monitor and evaluate real and personal property assessments.
• Prepare and file property tax appeals and attend hearings.
• Correspond and negotiate with local assessment officials to secure reasonable assessments.
• Review property tax bill payment requests and support annual forecasts and budgets.
• Research property tax laws and legal decisions, manage selected team members, and complete special projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of property tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; PTMS and database knowledge is a plus.
• Some overnight travel is required, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
