Data Governance Lead (Fintech)

Location: Based at hirify.global's corporate headquarters in Norcross, Georgia, United States. A personalized flexibility arrangement is available through the Flex Werk program. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead the evaluation, procurement, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise data governance solutions.
• Own the Enterprise Data Glossary and establish data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
• Build and maintain the Enterprise Data Quality Repository, including rules, issue tracking, remediation, and monitoring.
• Establish enterprise data lineage covering sources, transformations, dependencies, and downstream use.
• Drive adoption of data governance policies and standards, coordinate governance committee meetings, and monitor governance metrics.
• Partner with data operations, analytics, AI, technology, and business teams while managing third-party data providers and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, metadata management, or a related area.
• Experience implementing and operationalizing enterprise data governance practices and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata, lineage, and access governance.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Azure, GitHub, and third-party data governance platforms.
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
