Commercial Credit Analyst III (Fintech)

Location: Apple Valley, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Salary: $92,000–$108,000 annually plus a 15% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Prepare written credit presentations and loan approval recommendations for commercial loans ranging from $1 million to $30 million, including complex structures.
• Analyze borrower and guarantor financial capacity, repayment ability, global cash flow, collateral value, debt service coverage, and sensitivity scenarios.
• Collaborate with commercial lenders on loan structures and recommend improvements to manage portfolio risk.
• Monitor borrower and portfolio health, including problem loans, repayment risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in loan review committees, M&A due diligence, NCUA examinations, industry groups, and organizational initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to Commercial Credit Analysts I and II.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial credit analysis or relevant progressively responsible underwriting or lending experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with financial spreading and analysis software; experience with nCino is preferred.
• Knowledge of problem loan workout and monitoring techniques, industry trends, and commercial lending risk analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bondable status required.
