What you will do

• Independently manage the end-to-end operational publication process for a portfolio of journals.
• Monitor author and reviewer journeys, identify bottlenecks and anomalies, and resolve standard and complex publication issues.
• Build relationships with editors, publishers, societies, researchers, and journal contacts.
• Analyze data, reports, and workflows to improve journal configurations, quality, efficiency, and publication speed.
• Plan issue publication schedules and monitor content delivery, performance, and quality.
• Support Journal Management initiatives, knowledge sharing, workflow optimization, and change projects.

Requirements

• Experience independently managing journal publication operations or comparable scholarly publishing workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot publication-related problems and coordinate effective resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and continuous-improvement skills for optimizing workflows and journal performance.
• Ability to collaborate with authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, societies, researchers, and internal operational teams.
• Must work from the Philadelphia, PA, United States location.
