TEM Technician (FIB/TEM)

Salary: $70,670–$99,770 annual target compensation for a US hourly role

What you will do

• Prepare ultra-thin specimens using dual-beam focused-ion-beam tools.
• Perform transmission electron microscopy imaging and analysis.
• Support process and product development, qualification, failure analysis, process development, and process integration.
• Conduct detailed technical procedures using advanced FIB and TEM equipment.
• Maintain required records and reports and resolve nonstandard technical problems.
• Continuously develop technical skills and perform related duties as directed.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics technology, materials science, or a comparable discipline; or technical certification.
• At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory or manufacturing experience, or at least 1 year of relevant military experience.
• Ability to learn from others and work according to general instructions and priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon.
