Location: Milan, Italy — hybrid with at least three days per week in the Milan HQ
Salary: €55,000–€65,000 gross per year

is building an AI platform for legal work used by more than 20,000 legal professionals across Europe.
What you will do
- Lead People Operations across Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Bulgaria, and future markets.
- Own accurate and reliable payroll operations, including provider management, monthly close, controls, checks, and reconciliation with Finance.
- Manage HiBob as the HRIS source of truth and connect it with payroll systems.
- Run employee lifecycle, benefits, and ESOP administration across multiple countries.
- Map compliance risks, prioritize remediation, and track issues through closure.
- Design measurable processes, apply AI to reduce manual work, and lead and develop the People Operations team.
Requirements
- Solid HR or People Operations experience with end-to-end process ownership, including the Italian employment framework.
- Hands-on experience running payroll through external providers, including month-end close, controls, reconciliations, and provider management.
- Experience owning an HRIS and connecting it to payroll, such as HiBob with JetHR, PayFit, or Deel.
- Demonstrated experience automating HR processes with concrete AI use cases.
- Fluent Italian and English required.
- Availability to work in a hybrid setup with at least three days per week in the Milan HQ.
Nice to have
- People Operations experience outside Italy.
- Hands-on experience with HiBob.
- HR analytics experience.
