Senior Software Engineer, iOS

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid schedule requiring in-office work three days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Salary: $156,000–$195,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and ship features for the consumer iOS application using current Apple technologies.
• Write, test, review, document, and maintain high-quality code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build features that improve product metrics.
• Diagnose bugs and identify opportunities to improve and scale the application architecture.
• Experiment with new ideas from inception through implementation, including extensive A/B testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience shipping iOS applications available on the App Store.
• Professional fluency in Swift and strong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Extensive knowledge of Apple APIs and frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and trade-offs clearly with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Ability to work the required hybrid schedule in the San Francisco office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping features that created measurable product impact.
• Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency, and threading.
• Experience developing for multi-platform projects involving watchOS or tvOS.
