Solutions Engineer (DevOps)

Location: London, UK — hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site. The role supports the Germany territory and requires an existing right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Own the technical side of the sales cycle, including discovery, demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-value engagements.
• Map customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains, then demonstrate how governance and evidence can be added without replacing existing tools.
• Translate technical requirements into solutions addressing audit readiness, secure software delivery, and adoption of AI-generated code.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
• Bridge customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering while bringing field insights into product roadmap discussions.
• Track DevOps, AI-assisted development, competitive, and product trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Fluent German at C2/business-fluent level and English; German is used for discovery, demos, and technical workshops.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers and executives.
• Existing right to work in the UK and willingness to work in the London hybrid setup.

Nice to have

• Background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
• Experience selling to German enterprise accounts.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, DORA, GDPR, and change management.
• Experience with SaaS or platform products.
