System Engineer (Quantum Computing)

Location: Israel, Tel Aviv-Yafo; 3 days from the office and 2 days hybrid

hirify.global develops hardware and software control systems for quantum computing, scaling from individual qubits to large quantum processor arrays.

What you will do

• Own assigned features from defined system architecture through implementation, integration, validation, and release.
• Investigate, reproduce, triage, and resolve customer-reported issues after release.
• Integrate software components and interfaces with logic and validation modules across multidisciplinary systems.
• Define interface contracts covering APIs, protocols, timing, and resource constraints across software, hardware, and RF signal-chain boundaries.
• Lead integration plans, dry runs, troubleshooting, and technical escalations for Customer Support.
• Promote clean architecture, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and complete technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of system engineering experience with strong hands-on software engineering skills.
• Proven experience with system integration and debugging complex, multi-component environments.
• Proficiency in at least two programming domains, such as Embedded C/C++/Linux, Python, or backend development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Strong English communication skills and a B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware/software co-design or real-time systems.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and performance profiling.
• Familiarity with RF or analog signal chains.
