Corporate Controller (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, CA, USA; in-office

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the global accounting close and improve accuracy, efficiency, and close cycle time.
• Build automated reconciliations across Stripe, invoicing systems, metered token databases, and deferred revenue schedules.
• Establish accounting policies for GPU purchases, data center colocation, power commitments, leases, and cloud compute capacity reservations.
• Lead financial statement audits, corporate tax filings, R&D tax credit studies, sales and use tax compliance, and transfer pricing.
• Lead the implementation or migration to an enterprise-grade ERP and integrate billing, accounts payable, and payroll systems.
• Oversee cash management, banking relationships, working capital, corporate cards, and scalable financial controls.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience with meaningful ownership of accounting operations in a high-growth or complex business.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple entities, jurisdictions, or currencies, including consolidation and intercompany activity.
• Experience leading or supporting financial statement audits and designing scalable internal controls and accounting processes.
• Experience with fixed assets, leases, CapEx, or significant long-term infrastructure commitments.
• Experience implementing or improving ERP and financial systems and partnering with technical teams on integrations.
