Senior Backend Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for web applications.
• Implement and optimize databases and other data storage solutions.
• Integrate backend functionality with frontend components.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot backend issues and optimize full-cycle system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production work on complex backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Go or C#, and its associated frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, frontend development, Node.js with TypeScript, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with relational databases, including schema design and query optimization; PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Low-level understanding of network protocols and Windows internals.
• Experience with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
