Senior Data Scientist (Gen AI, Machine Learning)

What you will do

• Define and drive the long-term data science and machine learning strategy.
• Lead research initiatives in machine learning, Generative AI, and Graph ML.
• Shape product direction, platform strategy, and infrastructure investments with engineering and product leadership.
• Build scalable AI platforms and multi-agent systems using technologies such as RAG, AI Agents, knowledge bases, anomaly detection, and LLM fine-tuning.
• Mentor senior and staff-level scientists and establish technical direction and best practices.
• Represent the organization through publications, talks, and external collaborations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in applied machine learning research and production deployment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building Generative AI solutions such as RAG, AI Agents, or LLM fine-tuning in production.
• Production experience with Graph ML and graph technologies such as GNNs or GraphRAG.
• End-to-end ownership of machine learning systems, including design, experimentation, validation, deployment, and scaling.
• Experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP and solving complex, ambiguous, cross-domain problems.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• Experience with distributed Big Data and ML platforms such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, PySpark, or Lakehouse.
• Publications, patents, open-source contributions, or conference talks in AI and machine learning.
• Experience driving organizational strategy and cross-functional alignment.
