TL;DR
Logistics Sourcing Specialist - Global Air Lead (m/f/x) (Global Air Freight Procurement): Developing and executing sourcing strategies for global air freight logistics providers with an accent on RFPs, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and network consolidation. Focus on leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives, analyzing market and cost structures, and coaching sourcing professionals across regions.

Location: Wroclaw, Poland; on-site with at least four days per week in the office. Travel may include up to 20% domestic and international travel. Relocation is not authorized.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute global air logistics sourcing strategies.
  • Lead RFPs, mini-bids, lane negotiations, spot processes, RFQs, and supplier selection.
  • Drive cost reduction, value creation, network consolidation, and ongoing logistics service capacity planning.
  • Build market intelligence, category knowledge assets, and best practices for logistics sourcing.
  • Strengthen sourcing team effectiveness and organize supplier-based training for regional air functions.
  • Lead, develop, train, and coach sourcing professionals across all regions.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of 3PL, warehousing, ocean, air, and road transportation costing and service-level agreements.
  • Proven sourcing and procurement experience, including commercial-term and service-level-agreement negotiations.
  • Fluent English required for supplier negotiations; a CV in English is required.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, presentation, influencing, relationship-building, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Poland at least four days per week and travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

  • Logistics sourcing, operations, or PMO background.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment.
  • MBA-level qualification.
  • Additional language skills.
