Application Support Manager (Microsoft 365)

Location: Hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, with office locations in London, Cambridge and Leeds; office attendance is expected at least twice per month

What you will do

• Provide application support and guidance to internal and external users.
• Configure, upgrade and troubleshoot business applications, resolving incidents through detailed analysis.
• Act as an escalation point for the EUC team and Service Desk on end-user computing and application integration issues.
• Deliver improvement projects and identify opportunities for automation and application optimisation.
• Create training materials and maintain documentation aligned with ISO and NCSC best practices.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while following processes and recognised best-practice standards.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model with regular attendance at a United Kingdom office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based environments.
• Experience administering Entra ID.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management processes and best practices.
• Experience implementing and managing Conditional Access policies.
