Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work from home, client sites, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across cyber strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support cyber strategy projects including operating models, maturity assessments, transformation, and executive advisory.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, risk quantification, third-party risk reviews, compliance work, and assurance activities.
• Work on cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, application, IoT, security architecture, cryptography, and SecDevOps initiatives.
• Perform threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and resilience exercises.
• Contribute to CyberLab innovation through SaaS development, technology benchmarks, proofs of concept, publications, and professional events.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of relevant cybersecurity project experience in a consultancy firm.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography; blockchain knowledge is beneficial.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills required. Non-Dutch speakers are not accepted.
